It's 2008 and Jonathan Anderson has finished his menswear studies, now what? The most logical conclusion is to start his own label - the brand J.W. Anderson is born. He starts with an accessories collection in which he incorporates insects into transparent jewelry. Already in the same year, his men's collection attracts attention at London Fashion Week. Attention is devoted to his ability to create a modern interpretation of masculine and feminine, creating androgynous designs that are a middle ground of menswear and womenswear.

He sticks with menswear until 2010, however, when he realizes that women are already interested in his accessories, a womenswear collection follows. The womenswear collection was already longed for and it didn't take long for fashion investors to take notice of J.W. Anderson. Later, no less a fashion house than LVMH acquires parts of the brand and puts the Approval stamp of the industry. Several awards follow and J.W. Anderson remains true to his signature style, even when it comes to collaborations like with Topshop.
