YMC was founded in the 90's, 1995 to be more precise, but unlike other labels YMC wanted to move away from the streetwear skater movement and also from the logomania high-fashion of the 90's. YMC created simple, timeless designs inspired by millitary and workwear. The founders, Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins, draw their inspiration from music, art and literature. They wanted to go against the norm and excite, which is exactly what they did. Meanwhile, they've had collaborations with River Island, Asics and more. Because Moss himself comes from a working class background, he keeps his down to earth attitude and sells at a fair price.
