The Superstar started out as a basketball shoe in 1969 and has long since established itself beyond the court. The distinctive shell toe and the famous three stripes stand for street style, sport and, of course, individuality. A favorite of the basketball scene in the 70s, it made a significant impact on the hip-hop scene in the 80s - not least thanks to Run-D.M.C.: the look without laces and with the tongue sticking out achieved cult status! Of course, numerous collaborations also kept the Superstar fresh without changing his unique character.
