The ASICS x HAL Studios GEL-NYC 2.0 SSHS was created in close collaboration with HAL Studios and marks the start of the conceptual Signature Series "The Architecture of Everyday Life." The upper combines breathable mesh with structured leather and suede overlays in warm mahogany and deep black. These earthy, urban-inspired colors reflect the industrial environment and structures of a metropolis like New York, which is consciously referenced in the design. Technically, the GEL-NYC 2.0 features proven GEL technology in the heel and forefoot, effectively absorbing shocks and providing a smooth, comfort-focused running experience. FF Blast Plus cushioning supports shock absorption and dynamic rolling, while TPU TRUSSTIC elements in the sole add stability and guidance. Highly visible reflective details increase presence at dusk and emphasize the functional character of this model.
