Basic Art Series: Pollock

TASCHEN has been running the Basic Art Series since 1985 with a passion for art and architecture. The name Jackson Pollock is not universally known for nothing, this book includes his works and gives an insight into the infamous "Action Painting", among other things. Pollock is considered a pure expressionist and was already a legend during his lifetime. His works are characterized by wild sweeps, drips and streaks, whereby he wanted to prevent the viewer from searching for figures by numbering his paintings.
