In the beginning there was the Raw Denim Jeans – At least for A.P.C. Jean Touitou founded Atelier de Production et de Création" in 1987, after working for Kenzō Takada and agnès b. in Paris, among others. After the classic jeans Prêt-à-Porter collections follow as well as accessories for men and women: casual, simple and minimalist. Extravagance is a foreign word for A.P.C., but the return to essentials and looks for everyday life is an absolute must.

The artistic director of A.P.C. is Judith Touitou, Jean Touitou’s wife. She is also responsible for A.P.C.'s typical authentic French, always stylish fashion. A.P.C. use classic and premium materials for their timeless designs, which are created in studios and artist’s workshops in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Berlin.
