Wacko Maria - More than Japanese Streetwear

Japanese brand Wacko Maria are a staple in the streetwear scene and have been since 2005. Wacko Maria was founded by J-League Soccer Players Keiji Ishizuka and Atsuhiko Mori. Inspired by music, film and art, Wacko Maria combines romance and glamour in streetwear essentials. At the latest after collabs with UNDERCOVER, Yoshida and Co and nonnative, Wacko Maria was on the radar of the streetwear scene. Wacko Maria is especially known for her PARADISE TOKYO" and "GUILTY PARTIES" Pieces, which are a tribute to the Japanese district of Nakameguro.

Signature Pieces are Hawaiian shirts, souvernir jackets and housewares combined with their inspiration from Japanese culture. Staples like jackets and sweaters are of course not left out by Wacko Maria, who gives them her unique designs. Typical for Wacko Maria are animal prints in addition to the many artist collabs. Their flagship store in Nakameguro is mainly used for events within their community and collaborations with Japanese brands as well as local artists.
